Become a Professional Kite or Wingfoil Instructor. Our center offers internationally recognized training programs for those who want to work in the kitesurf and wingfoil industry anywhere in the world.

COURSES

  • IKO Instructor Pathway
    A complete professional progression designed to build strong teaching skills and ensure safety on the water.

  • ATC – Assistant Instructor Training Course
    Learn the fundamentals of safety, communication, and lesson structure. This certification is mandatory before joining the ITC.

  • First Aid / Medic First Aid
    Required to complete the IKO Instructor Level 1 qualification. Can be taken before or during the ITC.

  • ITC – Instructor Training Course
    The core certification that qualifies you as IKO Instructor Level 1, recognized worldwide and accepted by schools in every major kitesurf destination.

  • IRC – Instructor Reinstatement Course
    A one-day program for instructors whose IKO certification has been expired for over two years. Allows you to reactive your license and teach again.

Certifications You Will Receive Completing the full IKO program provides:

  • Assistant Instructor Certification (ATC)
  • Instructor Level 1 Certification (ITC + First Aid)
Entry Requirements

To join the IKO professional program, participants must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Ride at IKO Kiteboarder Level 3
  • Perform all 3N skills in various wind conditions
  • Hold a valid ATC to access the ITC
  • Hold or commit to obtaining a valid First Aid certificate
  • Pass the online pre-ITC assessments
  • Operate a motorboat (less than 40 HP)
  • Read and write in the course language
  • Have full personal kite equipment
  • Sign the liability release

Limited Spots: To maintain high training standards, each ITC allows a maximum of 8 participants. Registrations are confirmed based on payment order.

IWO Wingfoil Instructor Course

The International Wingfoil Organization (IWO) is the only global body fully dedicated to training wingfoil instructors and promoting high-quality teaching standards.

By earning the IWO Instructor Certification, you receive worldwide recognition of your teaching abilities and an advantage when applying for positions in wingfoil schools. The certification also includes one year of professional liability insurance, already included in the ITC course fee.
